Optometric Staff Program (Saturday only)

Important Update

Unfortunately, due to low registration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year's Optometric Staff program. We understand this may be disappointing, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. 

We remain committed to offering this educational opportunity and are planning to offer the program again at next year's conference, scheduled for Saturday, November 6, 2027. We hope you will consider joining us then.

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to welcome you to this program in the future.

Includes:

  • 6 hours of in-person CCOA (pending) programming designed for optometric assistants, ophthalmic technicians, office managers and front desk staff
  • Onsite parking plus breakfast, lunch and snacks
  • Entrance to trade show
  • Preferred room rates at hosting hotel (limited availability)
  • Reduced price for two or more optometric staff members attending from the same office/clinic

Registration fees*:

  • Individual rate: $220
  • Group rate — 2+ attending from the same office/clinic: $195 per person
    • Select this option on the registration form and include the name of the office/clinic in the "Additional Notes" section
    • Each person must have their own individual registration form but can be purchased at the same time

Our Refund Policy

The registration fee, less a $25 service charge, will be refunded if a cancellation request is received in writing to ce.optometry@uwaterloo.ca a minimum of two weeks prior to the start of the event. Requests received after that cut-off will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. 

Trade Show Exhibitor Registration

Connect with optometrists and optometric staff at the WEI Fall Conference & Trade Show.

The trade show will take place on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Exhibitors should plan to be set up by 11:30 a.m.
