The IST Information and Integration Management team recently took over the Open Data project in IST. We would like to talk about the lessons learned from the previous iteration, our goals going forward, and some of the decisions that we've made about how to take the next steps. On the technical side there will be interesting topics on server setup, data management, API management, structured logging, and the cross platform .NET Core framework. We're also going to cover the ideas behind having accurate and definitive open data, and crowd sourced elements that allow the campus community to be involved and self-maintain up-to-date info.
