With partners at Macquarie University in Australia and Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand, the principal researchers developed a framework for the factors that are critical to sustainable partnerships in work-integrated learning (WIL). This work builds on the existing literature that examines industry and academia partnerships. Focus groups and surveys were used with the university WIL stakeholders and industry partners. Presentations on various phases of the work have been made at international conferences and in the Australian Collaboration Education Network webinar. This research was sponsored by the Australian Collaboration Education Network (ACEN).
