Partnering with an institution in another country is an option for many types of work-integrated learning (WIL). You may even consider WIL experiences that are completely remote! Contact the institution you are interested in partnering with to learn their policies.
Some questions to ask an institution in another country are:
- How are students prepared for international experiences?
- How are international opportunities promoted to students?
- Are there travel advisories?
- What resources are available to help with visa/permit, insurance, and adminstration?
- What supports are available to students during the experience?
