Assistant Museum Curator (Winter 2016)

I am a third year geological engineering undergraduate student on my second co-op work term with the University of Waterloo.  Our wonderful Earth Sciences Museum is one of my favourite locations on campus, and I hope as Assistant Museum Curator to make it one of yours as well!

Science, especially Earth science, has fascinated me since childhood, and I am very fortunate now to be in a position at the Museum where I get to share my interest in Earth sciences with others of all ages.  I also am fortunate to be studying geology at school.  My favourite courses so far have been structural geology, mineralogy, and stratigraphy.

Music, specifically choral music, is another passion of mine.  Outside of school and work, I am involved with multiple choir groups as both a singer and conductor.  One day, I hope to become involved in education at the high school level, teaching science, music, or perhaps both.
