Prof. Emma Betz receives the Outstanding Performance Award for Teaching and Research

The Department for Germanic and Slavic Studies congratulates Professor Emma Betz for receiving the Outstanding Performance Award for Teaching and Research. 

Since 2005 the University of Waterloo rewards faculty members for outstanding performances in teaching and scholarship with parts of the Outstanding Performance fund. This year, Prof. Emma Betz from our department received one of the awards!

Joining the department in 2012, Prof. Emma Betz not only taught various language and applied linguistics courses, but also trained language teachers and helped directing the German language program.
