A panorama view of the Tatham Centre.

The William M. Tatham Centre (TC) for Co-operative Education and Career Action (CECA) at the University of Waterloo opened in 2003 and is named after Bill Tatham, in recognition of the largest individual contributor to CECA. Tatham donated four million dollars towards the construction project of CECA. He is a 1983 Systems Design Engineering Waterloo co-op graduate who founded his own successful company. He is currently the Chairman and CEO of NexJ Systems Inc. In 2005-2006 he was inducted into the National Commission for Co-operative Education Co-op Hall of Fame. Being in the co-op program benefited Tatham and inspired him in his career plans, which is a reason for his donation to CECA. The TC is definitely top of the line, providing a pleasant atmosphere, as well as a space that improves the efficiency of the co-op process, compared to other former CECA locations on campus.
