AMP Mobile Pay

The AMP Mobile Pay (AMP) app provides a safe and convenient digital payment experience for users and supports sustainability by eliminating the need for physical machines and paper tickets. With AMP, you can view pictures of parking locations for easy reference, renew parking sessions from your phone, and more.   

There are two ways to access AMP, either through the mobile application or the AMP website. If you do not have a cell phone, visit the AMP website in advance of coming to campus.   

How to use the AMP mobile application   

You can either download the AMP app through Apple’s App Store or the Google Play Store on your phone. Parking payment can be done using a credit card via secure online transaction, and must be completed upon arrival at the University.

  1. Download the AMP Park App on your phone's app store by searching "AMP Park" or by scanning the QR code on parking signs .  

  1. Using the menu screen (three parallel lines), click Login/Create an account with a unique password (you do not need to create an account) .  

  1. Find your location on the map and click the yellow map marker .  

  1. Select the amount of time you wish to park (minimum 1 hour) - cost will show "pre tax" value of parking.   

  1. Add a new vehicle or choose your vehicle.   

  1. Add your license plate - please ensure you are accurate with this step as your parking will only be valid if your license plate is correct.   

  1. Select Continue to go to checkout and fill out your credit card information. Choose to save your credit card for easy extensions and future purchases.   

  1. Select Purchase to finalize your parking payment.   

How to use the AMP website   

  1. Go to the AMP website.     

  2. Sign up and enter your contact information if it is your first time, or Login if you already have an account.   

  3. Choose your location by finding the correct Red Pin in the area. The location on the sign will match the location title on the pin.   

  4. Select the amount of time you'd like to park. This will indicate the pretax amount and the time that your parking will expire.   

  5. Select or add a vehicle. Ensure your license plate is correct, as this will validate your parking.   

  6. Choose Continue to go to the overview screen. Here you will add your credit card and billing information.   

  7. Choose Purchase to finish the transaction.  

Your remaining time will display with the option to extend time, as long as you are still logged into the webpage.  

Troubleshooting   

  1. If the first transaction failed to complete, please check your card information and billing information, then again.   

  1. If you are still having issues with AMP, please call us at 519-888-4567 ext. 33100.  

  2. If the app version fails again, try the AMP Mobile website.
