University of Waterloo campus does not allow for overnight parking during the hours of 3 a.m and 6 a.m unless you have a valid Student Residence parking pass. Residence parking permits are only sold to those student who live on campus. Visitors who need their vehicle left overnight may do so by purchasing a Pay and Display permit in the Residence lots only. You may use the Village lots by purchasing your Pay and Display in lot S, this permit is valid for 24 hours from the time of purchase and is valid in lots V,S and J lot. You may also purchase a Pay and Display in the UWP Resident lot in the Wilmot court, this Pay and Display is also valid for 24 hours from the time of purchase and is only valid in the UWP parking lot.
Those Students or Staff/Faculty who have a valid UW parking permit may register their vehicle to be left overnight during events, emergencies, trips etc. by registering their vehicle with Sustainable Transportation. You may do so by e-mailing Sustainable Transportation at strnsprt@uwaterloo.ca or calling at 519-888-4567 ext. 33100 with the following information:
- First and Last name
- License Plate
- Phone Number:
- The dates the vehicle will be left overnight
- Why the vehicle is being left overnight
