Description:
This
particluar
oscillator
cannot
handle
the
stress
of
having
the
string
attached
to
it,
so
the
string
must
be
supported
at
both
ends
by
retort
stands.
The
oscillator
is
placed
near
one
end
of
the
string.
This
set-up
is
nice
because
both
the
length
and
tension
are
variable,
with
the
only
limitation
being
the
length
of
the
string
itself.
