Welcome to Science and Technology in Society
Dr. Carla Fehr (Wolfe Chair in Scientific and Technological Literacy) joined the Department of Philosophy at the University of Waterloo with a particular mandate: to improve both the scholarly and public understanding of science and technology in society.
Her research focuses on the importance of diversity in our knowledge production practices, the nature of scientific institutional structures, the relationship between science and policy, and the moral terrain of science and technology.
