Dates, fees, and how to apply

NOTE: Fees are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to change at any time. Domestic students must reside in Canada and will be required to submit proof of Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency. Please note that registration fees, including a $35 CAD application fee, $340 CAD administrative fee and a $625 CAD program deposit, are included in the total fees listed above. 

If you are an international student, you must be enrolled in mandatory healthcare protection. You will be automatically enrolled by Renison in University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP), and it is included in your program fees.

As part of the application, you will be required to input the applicant student's information as well as their parent/guardian’s information. 
 

Following submission, our team will review your initial application details to confirm you are eligible to apply to the program. 
 

If deemed eligible to apply, you will be emailed instructions to set up your Renison Student Portal account and pay your $35 CAD non-refundable application fee*.  

NOTE: The $35 initial non-refundable application fee is required for formal consideration of your application. 

Following payment of your initial application fee, you will receive an email invitation containing a link to complete your online Kira Talent interview. All interview components and supporting materials must be submitted no later than February 26, 2027.

Please read the following instructions carefully:
 

• Download the Mathematics Problem Set, which will be included as part of your Kira Talent invitation email.
• Begin working on the mathematics problems as soon as possible. You should allow yourself 2-4 weeks to work through the questions carefully and prepare your written responses.
• Be prepared to discuss your work during the interview. One of the Kira Talent interview questions will ask you to discuss one of the problems from the mathematics problem set.
• Access Kira Talent
• Download and complete the Code of Conduct and Guardian Consent Form included with the supplemental materials.
• Upload the completed and signed Code of Conduct and Guardian Consent Form.
• Upload your completed written responses to the mathematics problem set as part of your application materials.
• Upload a copy of your high school transcript or most recent report card.
• Upload one teacher recommendation letter. The letter should clearly describe the teacher's relationship with you andhighlight your academic strengths, personal qualities, and suitability for the AeXIOM program.
• Upload a current photo of your passport (or Canadian Permanent Resident card, if applicable).
• Complete the online Kira Talent interview, responding thoughtfully to the interview questions about your interest in participating in the program.

How the Online Interview Works: 

There will be a total of three questions. Two of these questions are designed to help us learn more about you and your interest in the program. The third question will be based on the Mathematics Problem Set, which will be provided in your Kira Talent invitation email and must be completed before your interview.

Our team will review your completed interview, mathematics problem set, parental consent form, and letter of reference before making a formal admissions decision. You will be notified via e-mail (to the student's email address) of the admissions decision for your application by Friday, March 26, 2027. You may receive notice of a formal admissions decision prior to this date.  

Upon notification of acceptance into the program, you will be instructed to pay a $625 program deposit (non-refundable) and $340 administrative fee (non-refundable) no later than April 16, 2027 to hold your spot in the program until you complete your full payment. Once these fees are paid, our team will issue you a Letter of Acceptance accessible through your Renison Student Portal account. 

Your remaining fees are due in full by May 14, 2027. An invoice will be available in your Renison Student Portal account. Please visit our website for payment options.

NOTE: A 3% convenience fee applies on remaining fees paid online and will be invoiced separately.
