Serrina Philip
Serrina Philip is a recent graduate from the University of Waterloo Public Health (Co-op) Honours program. Additionally, she minored in Mental health, Addictions and Health policy and specialized in Aging Studies. This upcoming Fall of 2022, Serrina will be continuing her studies as a Master of Public Health (MPH) student at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto.

She is currently a research assistant with the Aging and Innovation Research Program (AIRP).Throughout her employment she had experiences working alongside seniors at the Bob Rumball Centre for the Deaf, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, and at L’Arche Daybreak. She was fortunate to have the opportunity to nurture, care for, and ensure the safety of older adults. These experiences enhanced her desire to work with older adults and sparked further interests in learning about the aging population.

As a research assistant, Serrina looks forward to exploring opportunities and enhancing her knowledge pertaining to the health and wellness of our older adults.
