The Canadian Psychological Association has awarded Christine Purdon Fellow Status!

This distinction is reserved for members who have made a distinguished contribution to the advancement of the discipline of psychology and have given exceptional service to their national or provincial associations. This applies aptly to Dr. Purdon who has, for decades, been internationally recognized as an expert on anxiety disorders and treatment, with a specialization in OCD. In addition to her research contributions, Dr. Purdon has held leadership roles within Canadian and international organizations, championing the use of science to improve our understanding of psychopathology and the quality of care provided by clinicians.
