Aldo has been the Director of the Centre for Extended Learning for just over five years, and previously was Associate Director, Online Learning for 10 years, providing leadership in online and digital learning at Waterloo.

Recently, Aldo co-led the development of a Digital Learning Strategy for the university. He is involved in EDTECH Governance, the Copyright Steering Committee, the AVPA Standing Committee on New Technology and Academic Integrity, as well as the Accessibility Education working group.
