Credentials Framework

A signature commitment of the University’s strategic plan is to “empower students to leverage diverse learning experiences by creating more flexible learning pathways.” The plan also calls for the creation of increasingly flexible curricula to meet the challenges of the future, as well as a commitment to interdisciplinary academic programming to address the complex problems of our complex world.

The Credentials Framework project team has been tasked with considering the types of credentials available at Waterloo as well as thinking through various aspects of the credentials process, and is carrying out research and consultations with University stakeholders to that end.
