Astronomy on Tap Kitchener logo
Astronomy on Tap is a series of monthly events that take place in bars and pubs in more than 50 cities worldwide. They are aimed at the general public and consist of accessible, engaging presentations on space and science, designed to share astronomy in a fun, relaxed, informal environment.

Join us for our August edition of Astronomy on Tap, to sit back, relax, and learn about the Universe from astronomers here in KW, while also having a couple of drinks and a bit of fun. This month we'll be joined by Conner Dailey (Waterloo Centre for Astrophysics/Perimeter Institute) who will speak about black holes moulding space and time, and Enrique Paillas (Waterloo Centre for Astrophysics) who will discuss how we can study dark energy by mapping out the Universe.

Doors at 7:30pm | 8pm start | 19+

FREE admission, but please register on the Eventbrite page and provide your group size to secure a table. Food and drink available -- come hungry!
