Astronomy on Tap is a series of monthly events that take place in bars and pubs in more than 50 cities worldwide. They are aimed at the general public and consist of accessible, engaging presentations on space and science, designed to share astronomy in a fun, relaxed, informal environment.
Join us for a new series of monthly events, to sit back, relax, and learn about the Universe from astronomers here in KW, while also having a couple of drinks and a bit of fun. This month, Roan Haggar (Waterloo Centre for Astrophysics) will give a quick tour of the Universe, and Liza Sazonova (Waterloo Centre for Astrophysics) will speak about the lives and deaths of galaxies.
