Astronomy on Tap is a series of monthly events that take place in bars and pubs in more than 50 cities worldwide. They are aimed at the general public and consist of accessible, engaging presentations on space and science, designed to share astronomy in a fun, relaxed, informal environment.
Join us for our October edition of Astronomy on Tap, to sit back, relax, and learn about the Universe from astronomers here in KW, while also having a couple of drinks and a bit of fun. This month we'll be joined by Tristan Fraser and Hunter Martin (Waterloo Centre for Astrophysics) who will both speak about cosmic voids and what we can learn from the empty space between galaxies.
