Yuan-Sen Ting
Yuan-Sen Ting is a survey scientist working on the evolution and formation of the Milky Way. He traces the history of the Milky Way by tracking the properties of billions of stars in the Milky Way. Yuan-Sen's work operates at the intersection of large surveys in astronomy, theoretical physics, statistics, and machine learning. Yuan-Sen received his Ph.D. in astronomy and astrophysics from Harvard University in 2017.

Daniel Green
Daniel Green was an undergrad at UBC and got his PhD from Stanford in 2009 under the supervision of Eva Silverstein.  After postdocs at the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton and Stanford, he joined the faculty at CITA in 2014.  He moved to UC San Diego in 2017 where he is an Assistant Professor of Physics.  He research spans several subjects including a variety of problems in Particle Physics and Cosmology.

Eric Bell

Eric Bell received his Bachelors in Physics and Astronomy, University of Glasgow, Scotland, and PhD in Physics at Durham University, England. After a postdoctoral position at the University of Arizona working with Rob Kennicutt, he became a staff scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Astronomie, Heidelberg, Germany.

Jolien Creighton
Jolien Creighton is a Professor of Physics at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.  He got his PhD at the University of Waterloo studying black hole thermodynamics.  He then did a postdoc at the California Institute of Technology where he became involved in LIGO data analysis.  He moved to the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee where he was first a postdoc and then joined the faculty.

He was then a postdoctoral scholar at the California Institute of Technology (2001-2003), and a Hubble Fellow at UCLA (2003-2005).

Dr Alexie Leauthaud is a Professor at the University of California Santa Cruz. Dr Leauthaud studies dark matter, dark energy, galaxies, and the formation of the large scale structure in the Universe. She is currently involved in dark energy measurements with the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI).

Alex Krolewski is an AMTD Fellow at the University of Waterloo and Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics.  He received his BA in Physics and Astrophysics from Harvard in 2015, and recently finished his PhD in Astrophysics at UC Berkeley in June 2020 under the guidance of Martin White and Simone Ferraro.
