Friday, June 21, 2019
Waterloo Centre for Astrophysics students attended the annual mmeting of CASCA (Canadian Astronomical Society), June 18-21.  Our Large Program on the Gemini telescopes (GOGREEN - 438h of telescope time over 2014-2019) has nearly completed collecting data.  The objective is to obtain spectroscopy of very faint galaxies in clusters at 1<z<1.5.   Kristi Webb, Karen McNab and Andrew Reeves presented first results at the CASCA meeting.  There will be a full collaboration meeting at York University Aug 19-23.  Over 20 participants from nine different countries will be attending.
