RQI stands for Relativistic Quantum Information – the broad title given to my field of research. I study traditional aspects of quantum information science in the more fundamental setting of relativistic field theory on flat and curved spacetimes. As such, my research is uniquely poised to attack important practical problems in quantum communication, entanglement generation, open quantum dynamics, and the like, while at the same time offering a testbed for studies into black hole physics, cosmology, and approaches to quantum gravity in general.
