The conference program consists of invited and contributed talks, and discussion periods.
Conference location:
The meeting will be held on the University of Waterloo campus in room QNC 0101 in the Mike and Ophelia Lazardis Quantum Nano-Centre building (QNC).

Event parking:
Guest parking on campus is available in Lots X and C. Walking time from both lots to QNC is 10-15 minutes. It is a 25-30 minute walk through the park and campus from the Delta Hotel.
Those with on-campus accommodations should leave their vehicle in the accommodations parking lot.

Conference Reception
The conference dinner will be held 6:00-9:00 pm on Monday May 27th and will be on campus at Federation Hall.
A drink ticket will be provided with your name badge (invited speakers and those who registered for the meal). Further drinks can be purchased from the bar (card payments only).
Places to eat:
- Lunch and morning/afternoon refreshments will be provided.
- UWaterloo food services has numerous outlets on campus that are convenient for beverages or a quick bite.
- Uptown Waterloo is served by many good restaurants. King Street (between Bridgeport Road and William Street) is convenient to campus and the Delta Hotel and has a good concentration of restaurants and bars.
Getting to Waterloo:
By air
The most convenient airport is Toronto's Pearson International (YYZ)
- If coming from Pearson by car, follow the signs onto Highway 401 West, then follow "By Car" instructions below. Travel time is an hour and 15 mins outside of rush hour.
- Follow signs for ground transportation to find an airport taxi. It can be cheaper to pre-book a Waterloo Taxi or Uber. Airways Transit has door-to-door shuttle service and a scheduled bus service (4 times a day) to and from Pearson.
- Before booking through Pearson, it's worth checking to see if you can get a flight to Kitchener-Waterloo airport (YKF). This means flying American Airlines and changing in Chicago, or flying WestJet & changing in Calgary. From K-W airport a taxi is about $30 and takes about 30 minutes, shaving half an hour off the Toronto option.
By car (from Highway 401)
- Take exit 278 for Hwy 8 (to Kitchener / Waterloo)
- After about 8 km exit right at onto Hwy 85 to Waterloo
- After about 8 km take University Ave West exit
- The University is about 3km west on University Ave at Seagram on the North side. You will see a large sign.
