With over 25 years of administrative experience, and most recently 6 years with the Economics Department at the University of Waterloo, Sherri Anne is responsible for hiring for the lab, strategic planning and guidance, financial activities, and managing the lab's offices.

Throughout my university education path, I have exposure to a variety of subjects including actuarial science, statistics, probability, computer science and finance. Because of the diverse knowledge that I have acquired, I found myself especially interested in research on topics such as computational sciences, machine learning, and data analytics. As the head of the machine learning group, I have a passion to lead our research group that takes advantage of the breadth and depth of my research interests.
