Do you know that Instagram embeds can be added to any page on WCMS 3? WCMS 2 only allowed Facebook and Twitter social media embeds. (Also Youtube and Vimeo, but are those social media?) Instagram is one of the biggest social media platforms, so it is no wonder that the WCMS will keep up with the trends. In the future, the WCMS might even have a TikTok embed!
In WCMS 3, social media embeds are now block types that are easy to add to any page! Navigate to a content page and create a block by selecting +Add block. Choose the Instagram block under External embeds. The Instagram block allows you to embed one Instagram post so enter the URL and press Save! (Note that only public Instagram posts can be embedded.) It will be formatted nicely like so:
