How to remediate Services

1. From the administration bar, select Workbench, and then select My Dashboard.
2. Navigate to the Content List panel and select the page you wish to remediate.
3. Follow the remediation steps provided for all applicable issues:
   • Missing Average length of time to complete request.
   • Missing popularity field.
   • Incorrect Service Hours/Exceptions.
   • Missing location map.
   • Note: Hidden fields (Service owner and Business contacts) are only visible in WCMS 2 when logged in as an authenticated user. They are not visible to viewers on published pages and do not require remediation.

Missing Average length of time to complete request:

1. Select the Edit tab.
2. Navigate to Average length of time to complete request and enter the text/value as seen on the original site.
   
3. Select state in the field beside Save as: Draft, Needs Review, Published, or Archived.
4. Select Save.

Missing popularity field: 

1. Select the Edit tab.
2. Navigate to the Popularity field (under Service Details) and enter the value from the original site.
   
3. Select state in the field beside Save as: Draft, Needs Review, Published, or Archived.
4. Select Save.

Incorrect Service Hours/Exceptions:

1. Select the Edit tab.
2. Navigate to the Service Hours panel.
3. If a timestamp under from/to does not match, select that timestamp and change it to the correct time.
4. Repeat step 3 as many times as required.
5. Select state in the field beside Save as: Draft, Needs Review, Published, or Archived.
6. Select Save.

Missing location map:

1. On the page, select the Edit tab.
2. Navigate to the Service location panel.
3. Select any random location using location lookup.
   
4. Select Save.
5. Repeat steps 1 & 2.
6. Enter the service location details from the original site using any of the following methods:
   • Location lookup: Select a location within the University of Waterloo from the drop-down menu.
   • Location address: Select a country from the drop-down menu. This will prompt the fields of Company, Street address, City, Province, and Postal code.
   • Location coordinates: Enter the Latitude and Longitude values.
   • A link to a map with the event location can also be entered in the Map field. Note: Selection of the location on the map in this section is possible, but it will not auto-fill the location address.
7. Select state in the field beside Save as: Draft, Needs Review, Published, or Archived.
8. Select Save.
