The Co-operative Education and Work-integrated Learning Canada (CEWIL) research grant (value: $5,000 CDN) was established in 2006 to promote research that helps to strengthen the development of co-operative education across Canada. The field of co-operative education benefits from research that provides a deeper understanding of what engages, encourages, and enriches students, faculty, employers, and staff, as well as studies which analyze various co-op practices and their outcomes. The grant is available to all co-op practitioners and researchers.
Please visit the CEWIL Research Grant and Submission Guide for more information on submission deadlines and submission guidelines.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within our Indigenous Initiatives Office.
