Illuminate is a new simulation game developed by UWaterloo's Interdisciplinary Centre on Climate Change (IC3) in partnership with the Games Institute.
The game is featured in a CTV news story by Tegan Versolatto Virtual game by University of Waterloo to highlight climate crisis to students.

The game teaches players about climate change impacts and solutions in Canada. Illuminate was created to help players understand the science, the risks, and (most importantly) the solutions to climate change. It was designed to present climate science in a way that is engaging and interactive.
