New policy brief series shares stories from migrant, settler and Indigenous communities
A new series of policy briefs led by the Just Transitions Collective, including Leslie Wexler and Prof. Mathieu Feagan, highlights a new approach to strengthening community-policy relationships, drawing on the experiences of communities in Phoenix, Bogotá and Toronto.
The series includes three case studies that amplify the voices and lived experiences of communities on the frontlines of longstanding efforts to build a more just and sustainable future. Drawing on these stories, the policy brief series outlines a relational framework for collective action that emphasizes listening, shared understanding, embodied knowledge and collective praxis as pathways toward justice and sustainability.
The full series, including Spanish translations, are available on the Briefs and reports webpage.
