Tim Dockhorn

My research interest is numerical analysis, particularly space-time methods.  The goal of my research project is to assemble one large linear system for all time-steps rather than solving a system of equations for every time-step.  Additionally, we attempt to exploit the special form of these all-in-one linear systems to apply effective preconditioning.
