Don Cowan, distinguished professor emeritus, Cheriton School of Computer Science, received a CANARIE Award to further develop a software platform Cowan created with his research team called iEnvironment++. The platform supports environmental science and engineering research on surface water by providing researchers with the ability to access and share environmental data and best practices.
