Engineering professor formally named to the Order of Canada

University of Waterloo Professor Keith Hipel will be named an Officer of the Order of Canada on Thursday September 6 at Rideau Hall, a rank recognizing national service or achievement. Hipel is has been named for his national leadership in systems design engineering. A professor and researcher for more than 40 years, Professor Hipel has dedicated his career to solving challenging problems related to conflict resolution in engineering.
