Civil and environmental engineering professor Peter Huck has been awarded a renewal of his Industrial Chair (IRC) in water treatment by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) for the fifth time in 25 years; making it the longest running IRC. With this renewal, Huck will receive more than $3 million in funding, over five years, from NSERC and 17 Canadian industry partners to continue his water treatment research program.
