Abstract:
In the first part of this session, we review the fundamental concepts of symmetric and public-key cryptography: Feistel networks, linear and differential cryptanalysis, iterated hash functions, RSA, Diffie-Hellman, and elliptic curve cryptography. The second part provides a brief overview of Shor's algorithm and the major families of post-quantum cryptography.
