Graduate research travel assistantship increased
A message from the Graduate Studies Office.
The Graduate Studies Research Travel Assistantship value is increasing to $450. The primary purpose of the travel award is to support University of Waterloo graduate students in presenting their research at professional conferences. This one time increase to the travel award maximum is a result of additional financial resources that are available during the 2015-2016 academic year to support travel taking place during the fall 2015 and winter 2016 terms. The travel award is funded by the Graduate Studies Office (GSO) and Graduate Studies Endowment Fund (GSEF). Additional financial support may be provided by the graduate student’s supervisor, graduate program, department, school or Faculty.
For eligibility guidelines and application form, graduate students are encouraged to visit the Graduate Studies Research Travel Assistantship guidelines and application form or contact Vishal Soni in the GSO.
Stay tuned for more updates on the travel assistantship as the GSO and GSEF continue to improve this great initiative!

The run (or jog, or walk) is open to all ages and attracts more than 400 alumni, students, faculty, staff and community members every year.
Participants have the option of a 2.5K or 5K run, jog or walk.
