Berke is a Ph.D. candidate in social psychology at 9 Eylül University, with a background in general psychology, primarily focusing on decision-making processes. Currently, he serves as the lab manager for the DICE lab, where he assists with research papers, schedules lab events, and oversees lab operations. Additionally, he is actively engaged in his own research projects.

His primary research interest lies in exploring how human cognition shapes everyday moral decision-making and the underlying cognitive processes involved. Specifically, he investigates the cognitive mechanisms that underlie belief in free will, the cognitive structures associated with retribution as a form of punishment, and strategies for altering punitive attitudes.

Outside of academia, Berke is a devoted fan of the Star Wars series and the Lord of the Rings universe. He harbors a long-term ambition to develop a game inspired by one of these fantastical or science-fiction universes.
