About

Zohre Pourgholamhossein received the PhD degree in electrical engineering (electromagnetics and microwaves) from INRS-EMT, Université du Québec, Montréal, QC, Canada, in 2024, where she developed broadband Huygens’ metasurface-based flat-lens antennas and reconfigurable meta-lens antennas. Since 2026 she has been a postdoctoral fellow with the Emerging Radio Systems Group at the University of Waterloo, where her research focuses on large-scale phased array technologies for next-generation 5G/6G communication systems.

From 2024 to 2025 she was a postdoctoral fellow at the Poly-Grames Research Center, Polytechnique Montréal, working on antenna arrays for wireless high-power transfer (WHPT) and reconfigurable transmitarray antennas for space applications. From 2011 to 2018 she was affiliated with Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran, where she worked on RF front-end circuit design, high-power microwave filters, and antenna design.
