Design For All | *New Program*

dsdsd

Design For All is a six-week virtual program that aims to teach participants about the principles and applications of universal design. Participants will begin to apply the principles of design to design a device for people with different exceptionalities and disabilities using common materials.

In addition, participants will explore how drawing software such as TinkerCAD can be used to model accessible spaces by making their own modifications to a pre-existing space. For the last three sessions, in groups of 5, participants will be using the Arduino software to develop an accessible product to aid individuals at home.

Time: Thursdays from 6-8pm on October 22nd - November 26th. Additional drop-in times will be available throughout the week for any questions students may have.

Price: $225(+HST)

Registration will open on Thursday, September 24 2020 at 12:30pm.
