Research Interests

Anita Iacono

Anita Iacono completed her Master's of Science in September 2021. Her research focused on modifiable mechanisms linking mental health to cognitive outcomes in middle to older age adults in the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging (CLSA). Specifically, she was interested in how depressive symptoms impact cognition through social pathways and how this varies across subgroups. Her research went beyond exposure-outcome associations and delved into the mechanisms of how risk factors influence cognitive outcomes and for whom.
