The Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology (WIN) is pleased to present a Distinguished Lecture by Anja Boisen, Head of Section and Professor in the Department of Health Technology at the Technical University of Denmark.

Disrupting and decentering whiteness is a core component of the overall goal of creating an anti-racist educational space. This workshop explores how we can disrupt the centering of whiteness in higher education and unpack white supremacy cultures material effects and its harm on racialized students, faculty, and staff.

• Writing: Write alongside other applicants to make progress on your proposal
• Workshop: Make your way through the WCC’s online Tri-Agency Scholarship's "Writing Your Research Proposal" workshop
• Peer Review: give feedback to other applicants and receive feedback on your proposal-in-progress through a guided peer-review session
• Q&A: Ask questions and receive feedback from WCC staff
