Immolation

Immolation is an artistic and powerful devised piece on rebellion and freedom split into four movements. Inspired by the stories of real freedom fighters, the ensemble aspires to delve into the nuances of their own interpretations of freedom. Loosely inspired by the theme of decolonization, director Pam Patel aims to delve into how these characters are shaped by their stories and how they interact together.

Designing Exergames for Patients with Osteoporosis

 Eléa Thuiliera, a PhD student at the university of Galway (Ireland), will be presenting a guest lecture on February 29th. Eléa's research aims to design active games (exergames) to increase engagement while improving physical health, and fitting to a population at risk of fall and fracture.

2024 TD Walter Bean Public Lecture

Dr. Denis Aheto will discuss a holistic approach to caring for the world’s oceans, lakes and rivers. Using examples from African countries, he will explore how the global community can transform the challenges facing our oceans into opportunities for growth to bolster sustainable development and stimulate socioeconomic transformation.
