What is Cornerstone? Cornerstone is Velocity's two-week sprint for students and researchers from any faculty who want to explore an idea they have or even just an area of interest with a supportive community.

This virtual session will discuss and answer questions about the importance of talking to young children (age 0-6) about consent, setting boundaries, and using the proper names for body parts to help build safe, caring and respectful communities.

International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) occurs every year on December 3rd and aims to “promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities.” The day was proclaimed in 1992 by the United Nations and continues to be urgently relevant as communities around the world strive towards sustainability, equity, and inclusion.
