Talking to young children (age 0-6) about consent.

This virtual session will discuss and answer questions about the importance of talking to young children about consent, setting boundaries, and using the proper names for body parts to help build a culture of respect and consent.

Active Bystander Intervention Training for Staff and Faculty

Bystander Intervention Training is one way the Sexual Violence Prevention & Response Office (SVPRO) is helping to build consent culture on our campus. Participants will be provided with the skills and resources to intervene when they see harmful, or potentially harmful, behaviour which includes sexual violence, as well as other forms of harm.

Inclusive Menstruation: Understanding Trans Experiences

Join transgender therapist and educator, Washington Silk (they/them), as they talk about menstruation and trans folks! In this special Pride Month edition of our Menstrual Equity Lunch and Learn series we’ll learn more about the complex relationship between menstruation and trans bodies.

As part of the Water Institute's WaterTalks lecture series and co-hosted with the Department of Applied Matematics, Dr. Julie Pietrzak is a Professor of Physical Oceanography within the Environmental Fluid Mechanics Section, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences, Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands, will present: The significance of canyons on Atlantic Water pathways towards the glaciers of Northwest Greenland.
