We invite you to join us on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 for our annual Desmarais Family Summit. The Summit is an interactive exhibition that gives our Global Engagement students the unique opportunity to share their research projects on this year’s theme, “Finding our Future City.”

The third and fourth-year Knowledge Integration students invite you to discover the outcomes of 8-months of research, design, prototyping and collaboration. Under the theme of Waterloo's Global Futures, discover two 225 square feet museum exhibits on the benefits of hobbies and the perception of safety at night, as well as senior honours project posters on the topic of AI, food security, social media and much more!

On Wednesday February 26, from 5:00-6:30 p.m., drop by GreenHouse (UTD 164) for Demo Day. Students from Social Innovators in Training will be showcasing their ideas, looking for feedback, and building community. It's a can't-miss opportunity to see the future in action!

The Office of Indigenous Relations (OIR), University of Waterloo School of Architecture in Cambridge and Southwest Ontario Aboriginal Centre (SOAHAC) will be collaborating for a community gathering and social to be hosted on the evening of February 13, 2025. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Day is a day to share how GIS technology supports research, informs decision-making and creates a positive impact around the world.

The Library’s Geospatial Centre, Environment Technology & Instructional Support (ETIS), and the Waterloo Association of Geography Students (WAGS) have partnered to host an afternoon of learning.

Interested in retro gaming and vintage computer systems? Come to the Computer Museum Open House! We'll have a variety of games set up on our functioning systems for visitors to interact with, alongside other artifacts from our collection.

Featuring: History of Computing for Tweens Learn about the history of counting, computing devices, and how an abacus works with a tasty treat! This presentation will be given by Scott Campbell from 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. in DC 1304.
