As part of the Water Institute's WaterTalks lecture series, Dr. Belinda Sturm, Director Kansas NSF EPSCoR, Professor and Ross McKinney Faculty Fellow, University of Kansas, Kansas, US, will present: Wastewater process intensification: Using biological process design to increase the hydraulic and treatment capacity of a municipal wastewater treatment plant.

Palestinian Storytelling

Join us for an evening of Palestinian storytelling. Four local authors will read from their favorite pieces of Palestinian literature and discuss their own work in relation to these pieces. Engage with the resonance of the written word, the possibilities of storytelling, and the power of literature. Featuring authors Lamees Al Ethari, Jana ElKhatib, Carrie Snyder and Tasneem Jamal. This event is made possible by funding and support from UW Faculty 4 Palestine, The Foundation for Palestinian Studies Fund, The department of English Language and Literature, and The New Quarterly. Please join us for refreshments after the event!
