Reading Research for Undergrads

Friday, February 17, 2017 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm EST (GMT -05:00)

So, you’re an undergrad, and you’re interested in a field of research. Or many fields. Or you’re not quite sure what you’re interested in, but you want to find out. The information is out there, in the world of journals and papers. It’s pretty formidable to jump in alone. Get an intro to the publishing world, the nature of papers, and how to develop a plethora of research reading skills with the grad students of FemPhys.

Everyone is welcome! This event is targeted towards upper year undergrads and early grad students in physics and physics-related fields. Snacks will be provided!

Please feel free to email femphys@gmail.com for any accessibility or dietary concerns.
