This discussion will cover some of the past + present interactions between the astrophysics community and Native Hawaiians, with a focus on the controversial plan to build the Thirty Meter Telescope (TMT).

This event is open to everyone, no prior knowledge of astrophysics or the history of the TMT is needed.
