On June 23rd 2015 over 30 key stakeholders attended a meeting in Toronto to begin the conversation to assess the appetite for, and capacity for, developing a National Food Allergy Strategy for Canada (NFASt).

On February 20th 2016 a smaller group of 15 key stakeholders met to discuss the next steps in forming a National Food Allergy Strategy for Canada.
One of the many items discussed was the UK publication Making Sense About Science: Making Sense of Allergies. The group asked, can we have a Canadian version of this that helps the public understand the science facts and debates surrounding food allergy?
