Mitacs: Globalink Research Award
The Mitacs Globalink Research Award (GRA) is currently accepting applications. This award aims to foster research partnerships between Canada and designated partner organizations in eligible countries and regions.
Qualified senior undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows who are selected for this opportunity will have the privilege of working on a 12- to 24-week research project under the joint guidance of both a home and host professor. As a recognition of their research efforts, recipients will be granted a $6,000 research award. These awards are made possible through collaboration with Mitacs's Canadian academic partners and are dependent on the availability of funding.

Erasmus+
The Erasmus+ program, developed by the European Union, aims to advance education, training, youth development, and sports in Europe. Waterloo is proud to partner with various institutions throughout the EU to provide students, staff and faculty members with the opportunity to gain firsthand experiences, knowledge and skills through mobility and cultural immersion.
Participation in the Erasmus+ program offers individuals the chance to acquire international and intercultural competencies, cultural awareness and build lasting connections. Successful applicants will receive a grant to cover the costs of their stay abroad, with varying amounts between sending and host countries. The program is administered by Waterloo International and we strongly encourage all members of our community to consider this valuable opportunity for a successful and meaningful international experience.

Global Affairs Canada (GAC)
The International Scholarship Programs funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC) provide opportunities for international students, postdoctoral scholars, researchers, and faculty to pursue short-term study, research, and professional development at the University of Waterloo.
