Isabel Urrutia completed the Master of Environmental Studies (MES) program in the Department of Environment and Resource Studies at the University of Waterloo in 2014.

Master's Thesis Title: Food Wastage in the Region of Waterloo, Ontario

Prior to returning to graduate school she worked as a research analyst at Sustainable Waterloo Region. Isabel holds a Bachelor degree in mathematics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and a Master of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.
